Biowatch is a clock, in the form of a demonstration and game, illustrating the extraordinary properties of the Biowall tissue developed by the Logical Systems Laboratory of the EPFL -Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne-, under the leadership of Professor Daniel Mange. Professor Mange wished to link the very latest information technology with touch, the most instinctive of human gestures. With his colleagues, he therefore developed a genuine living object capable of self-repairing and performing other functions typical of living beings. This invention, on public display for the very first time, has a global significance.
